Hi there and thanks again for all your help.
Someone has worked on a quote for “raising” the sunken slab.
Your quote included pricing for saw cutting and re pouring the slab.
Can you please reply with 2 things:
1) the cost you had calculated to cut and re pour the slab
2) the pros and cons of each method of repair:
A) raise the existing slab
B) saw cutting and re pouring the slab
Thank you so much

We do not recommend slab raising, because:
- The current slab has cracked at several location.
- There may be some more cracks at the bottom as well which are not observable
- Raising does not fix the cracks , and it may cause more cracks as well, by the way
- Raised slab does not have any slope to the drain,
- The current slab is not a reinforced slab , however our recommended new slab will include reinforcement and higher strength the concrete.
However raising may be a cheaper option .
