The acoustics in that room are terrible. During the Friday Happy Hour it is almost impossible to hear the person next to you.
Linda Cameron has taken it upon herself to find a way to fix this problem.
Today was the 2nd meeting she has arranged. This is not a Council incentive, and not an official meeting. Linda is determined to raise the money without any funds from Council.
I missed the first meeting and apparently there were 8 in attendance.
Today there were 9. One Council member has been at both meetings.
At one point they were considering 2” thick grey cloth covered foam, to fit in each of the 7 window openings. They realized, they would be a a storage problem when not in use.
One owner and I am sorry, I don’t know her name, took a leap of faith and ordered enough curtains and hardware from Amazon to do cover all 7 windows. Less than $500.00. If they are not suitable she can return them. Kudos to her for stepping up. One other owner had found something similar locally and the 2 of them will have a look to compare material and prices.
